These Canvas Pants are tough as nails!

They are extremely well designed and constructed of rugged 12 oz. 65/35% Poly/Cotton Canvas, and as if that weren't enough, they are reinforced with Cordura® fabric on the seat, knees and pant cuff. No more tattered cuffs! The Cordura on the knees are formed into pockets that accept kneepads (sold seperately) that'll save your knees over and over again. You don't know how often until you get a pair of Blaklader pants. You won't want to wear anything else. The next best thing about these canvas pants are the flip-out utility pockets on the front. They tuck in when not in use, and can carry all sorts of things like plumbing fittings, electrical parts, drill bits and the chuck key that won't stay on the drill. A tape measure fits in there quite well too. There are pockets on the legs as well.  There is a large one on the left with a snap flap and a smaller one with Velcro®  closure that works well for a cell phone. There are a couple of pencil slots as well to accomodate varying lengths of pencils. (You know they get shorter and shorter quickly). On the right leg there are two narrow slash pockets you can keep a utility knife, fold up ruler or other long narrow type tools. I keep a small channel locks along with my knife. The rear pockets are bellowed to fit more and have snap flaps to keep stuff in. And don't forget the heavy duty hammer loop on the RIGHT side which is standard on all Blaklader pants.

Blaklader Heavy Worker canvas pants are proven to outlast four pairs of jeans, and they are WAY more functional. They help you work more efficiently.

Great pants for a contractor!

Review by Dan on 5/11/2017

I've been using these pants for 5 months now and they have held up really well. No wearing or holes in any of the usual areas and built in kneepads are excellent! No more sliding down my leg or putting on and off. They move with me, stay in place, and make protecting my knees convenient and easy. The extra pockets have been really nice too. I intend to get the blaklader shorts for the warmer weather.

Best work pants to not hit Australia

Review by Glendon on 3/1/2012

Why do we not have a retailer here in Australia for these pants? That's just wrong! They are absolutely great. Well designed, extremely functional especially with the front utility pockets and knee pad pockets. I find I do not need a separate tool belt, nor separate knee pads. Less things to carry separately allows me to do my work faster when going from location to location within site. Very confident and satisfied with these pants.
